SPONGOSTAN™ Absorbable Haemostatic Gelatin Products

Sterile, water-insoluble, porcine gelatin absorbable sponge and powder intended for haemostatic use by applying to a bleeding surface.Sponge can be applied to the bleeding site either dry or saturated with sterile isotonic sodium chloride solution (sterile saline) or sterile  topical thrombin solution. A doughy paste can be prepared from the powder, using 4-10 mL of saline or thrombin.
