Horseshoe shaped bite wafers made from wax with copper particles distributed throughout. Soften wafer in warm water and the copper holds the heat so the wax is softer. Foil laminated to prevent bite through, yet thin enough not to open the bite. Coprwax tempers in the patient’s mouth so it is harder after the bite is taken than when it was in the box.
